This is an original multimedia
acrylic/oil art wjork, based on an original acrylic
sketch, Tasha, standing. Aphrodite was associated with
Cupid; the cupids here come from a couple of classical
paintings, for which I've misplaced my notes. (I don't
feel like looking to find them again.)

(from Wikipedia...) ...The tree branch in the "Baths of Aphrodite" photo makes it hard to use for an art piece, so I preferred to use Weeki Wachee River.. I also do not try to reproduce classical styles, preferring my more "traditional-modern" forms, and using contemporary models and poses. |

One summing-up, also from the Louvre site above, is "... usually a relatively thin underpainting, and using transparent glazes to enrich
